Dell Technologies chooses Ospa’s Mercury House as its new Scottish home

19th August 2026

Global technology leader Dell Technologies is set to make Ospa’s Mercury House at Strathclyde Business Park its new Scottish home, taking 38,000 sq ft of premium managed office space.

Dell’s occupation follows the announcement in July 2025 that Oticon would become the first tenant at Mercury House, pre-letting 20,000 sq ftof space as part of a hybrid occupational model. With Dell now taking theremaining available space, the 65,000 sq ft building is fully occupied – marking a significant milestone for Ospa and demonstrating the strong demand for its premium, flexible and fully managed workspace offering.

The two lettings reflect Ospa’s ability to accommodatedifferent occupational requirements within a single building. Oticon’s hybrid arrangement combines a long-term lease for its core space with additional accommodation on flexible terms, while Dell is taking 38,000 sq ft within thebuilding on a fully managed basis.

Mercury House was originally built by Scotland’s leading commercial property business and parent company of Ospa, HFD, in 1990 and has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment to enhance its sustainability, amenities and working environment. The building features high-quality office accommodation, enhanced communal areas, meeting and focus rooms, collaboration spaces, spa-style shower facilities and improved energy performance, with the property powered by 100% green electricity.

For Dell, Mercury House provides a high-quality working environment combining dedicated office space with flexible lease structures, central reception, kitchen and breakout areas, and fully AV-enabled meeting and conference facilities – all delivered on an all-inclusive basis.

The space has been designed to provide businesses with the flexibility to adapt as their requirements evolve, while removing the complexity traditionally associated with setting up and managing office space.

Rosemary Hill, Managing Director of Ospa, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Dell Technologies to Mercury House. Their decision to make Ospa their new Scottish home is a fantastic endorsement of our approach to managed workspace and the quality and flexibility we provide. This is a fully managed environment tailored to how Dell works, combining a core space with room to adapt as needs change. It allows their team to settle in immediately and focus on their customers from day one.”

Dell’s arrival also places the company at the heart of thenew Lanarkshire AI Growth Zone, Scotland’s first AI Growth Zone, designated by the UK Government’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. The Growth Zone is being developed by Ospa’s sister company, DataVita, and is centred around the growth of their AI Innovation Park. The company, which is Scotland’s premier provider of Data Centre and Connectivity services, is set to attract leading technology and AI businesses to the North Lanarkshire region, creating a growing community focused on innovation, collaboration, skills and the future of AI.

For Dell, the move to Strathclyde Business Park provides anopportunity to be part of this emerging technology ecosystem while strengthening its connections across Scotland and continuing to support customers and partners across the UK.

As the Lanarkshire AI Growth Zone develops, Ospa is proud to play a role in creating the working environment for businesses contributing to the region’s growing technology and innovation community.
